Since 2024, Douglas Counseling, Coaching, & Consulting, LLC has been honored to host Master of Social Work (MSW) interns as part of our commitment to strengthening the social work profession. Our field internship program provides students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences guided by seasoned professionals who are dedicated to their growth.
Interns work alongside our team to develop core competencies in clinical practice, professional ethics, documentation, and client engagement—all within a structured framework of supervision, mentorship, and ongoing feedback. We believe field education is more than a requirement; it's an opportunity to shape compassionate, competent, and confident practitioners who are ready to make a difference.
Our program is overseen by Dr. Tyneisha Douglas, with day-to-day leadership provided by Whitley Owens, MSW, Assistant Director of Intern & Professional Development, who supports our interns throughout their placement and helps guide their professional journey.
